I was admitted on Sept. 21, 2024, 12 days in Internal Med ward then 19 days in Maz cardiology. After discharge on Oct. 11, 2024, just finishing (Nov.15) daily IV antibiotic therapy at Kaye Clinic, weekends at the Medical Outpatient Unit. Words can't fully express how pleased I have been at the professionalism, competence, and caring received from all staff I came in contact with...from Internal Medicine, to Cardiology at the Maz, to the Adult Day Medicine Kaye Clinic and the Medical Outpatient Clinic, on weekends. First rate, world class. From the floor cleaners to the meal deliverers, porters, unit clerks, nurses, doctors, residents...these people are tops. These people need all the support possible from administration and government. I've been a resident of Alberta for 78 years and it's time to show our collective support...fair and competitive collective agreements, for starters.
