I just want to give a big thank you to the staff at the Sturgeon General in St. Albert. People there were very pleasant and humorous but also very professional! I was given a pre warmed blanket. The nurse who gave me the IV was so gentle she actually apologized for tapping my arm searching for my sunken veins. She was obviously having trouble getting one so I was thinking here we go and prepping to be a pin cushion. She took her time,lowered my arm and got it with one gentle poke! The anesthesiologist was cracking jokes but also very professional. People genuinely seem to care there and you feel like you are among friends
